Ceiling speaker with a 6.5" woofer and a rotatable tweeter for uniform sound coverage.
Passive in-ceiling speaker with a 6.5" woofer and 1" tweeter delivers high-quality audio output for both commercial and residential installations. The tweeter features a ±15° rotation mechanism that allows precise sound direction even after installation into the ceiling.
The speaker provides 90° axially symmetric coverage and achieves a maximum sound pressure level of 107 dB at 1 m. A frequency range of 47 Hz to 20 kHz ±3 dB ensures faithful reproduction of both music and speech. The polycarbonate construction with a metal grille cover is durable and discreet.
Compatibility and System Integration
The speaker is compatible with the UPL-Amp power amplifier, which supports up to three pairs of speakers (six units total) in the recommended configuration. For wiring, the use of UACC-Cable-Speaker-150M cable is recommended. The speaker is also compatible with the UACC-In-Wall-Speaker in-wall speakers.
Installation and Customization
The speaker is secured using screw clamps that, when tightened, fasten to the back of the ceiling. The system supports ceiling materials up to 50 mm thick. The metal grille cover can be removed and spray painted using light, even coats to avoid clogging the perforations.
