Solarix installation cable CAT5E UTP with type designation SXKD-5E-UTP-LSOHFR-B2ca is designed for operation of Ethernet protocols including 2.5GBase-T and 5GBase-T. The cable features U/UTP construction with four pairs of conductors made from high-quality copper wire with 99.97% copper purity and diameter of 0.5 mm (AWG 24). Conductor insulation is made of HDPE material with resulting insulated conductor diameter of 0.88 mm.
The cable jacket type LSOHFR with fire reaction class B2ca-s1a,d0,a1 meets strict requirements of Decree of the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic No. 23/2008 and No. 268/2011 on technical conditions of fire protection of buildings. In accordance with EU Regulation No. 305/2011 (CPR), the cable was tested at an independent laboratory FORCE CERTIFICATION A/S in the assessment and verification of constancy of performance system AVCP 1+. The cable easily meets international standards ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173 and ANSI/TIA 568.2-E.
Electrical parameters and transmission properties
The cable exhibits excellent electrical parameters with NVP value of 68%, signal delay of 535 ns/100 m and delay skew of ≤ 45 ns/100 m. Dielectric strength reaches 1 kV DC or 0.7 kV AC for 1 min, insulation resistance is ≥ 5000 MΩ × km and resistance unbalance is ≤ 2%.
Installation and mechanical properties
Minimum bending radius during installation is 4× cable diameter, maximum tensile strength is 100 N (4× 25 N/pair). The cable has segregation classification type b according to EN 50174-2 and is suitable for installation in temperature range 0 to +50 °C.
Packaging and logistics
The cable is supplied in 305 m reels in highly durable three-layer polished cardboard box in orange color RAL 2003 with dimensions 215 × 380 × 380 mm. The box contains all product information including barcodes, production batch and technical parameters. Net weight of the cable is 39.3 kg/km.
