High-performance outdoor 5G modem designed for UniFi Cloud Gateway and UniFi Gateway with download speeds up to 3.4 Gbps.
UniFi 5G Max Outdoor is a professional solution for ensuring reliable mobile connectivity in outdoor environments. The modem operates in Dual SIM Single Standby (DSSS) mode with support for both physical nano SIM and eSIM, enabling automatic backup connection in case of primary carrier outage.
The robust construction made of aluminum alloy and UV-stabilized polycarbonate meets IPX6 rating, which can be extended to IP67 using the included cable gland. The modem features 6 integrated antennas, two of which are directional with high gain of 9 dBi for downlink with a radiation angle of 85° × 85°. Supports mounting on poles with diameter 25–63.5 mm or on walls.
Compatibility and Management
The device requires connection to UniFi Cloud Gateway or UniFi Gateway and cannot be operated as a standalone router. Management is done exclusively via Ethernet interface after adoption into the UniFi system. For WAN connection, a PoE adapter with direct connection to the gateway must be used.
