The hAP be3 Media model represents a comprehensive solution for modern households with support for the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard on three bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz in 2×2 MIMO configuration. The router supports Multi-Link Operation (MLO) in MLSR mode, ensuring higher throughput, lower latency, and better spectral efficiency. The wide 6 GHz band offers a cleaner spectrum and helps reduce congestion in environments with many devices.
The device is equipped with a powerful Quad-Core ARM processor IPQ-5322 with frequencies up to 1.5 GHz, 2 GB DDR4 RAM, and 512 MB NAND storage. All 5 Ethernet ports operate at 2.5 Gb/s, eliminating bottlenecks when connecting NAS servers, workstations, or ultra-fast ISP lines. The router offers complete connectivity including USB-C, 2× USB 3.0, and a microSD slot for local media storage, backups, or home cloud.
Home multimedia center
Thanks to USB ports and microSD slot, the router becomes a local storage hub for photos, backups, home monitoring recordings, or a private family cloud. With the MikroTik BackToHome application and improved file sharing functionality in WinBox, you can share large files without worrying about expired links or privacy.
Containers and advanced features
ARM64 architecture and powerful processor enable running containers for network topology visualization, dashboards, security tools, or experimental AI assistants. Container application installation is simplified to one click in the WinBox environment. The router handles complex firewall rules, encryption, multiple VPN tunnels, BGP, and advanced routing.
Smart home integration
Built-in Thread radio and full container support enable deployment of Matter-over-Thread solutions for home automation that remain local, private, and fully customizable. Bluetooth 5.4 extends smart device connectivity options.
