The MC212CS-20 is a professional networking device designed for connecting copper and optical networks. The converter offers one Gigabit RJ45 port (10/100/1000 Mbps) and one SC optical port for single-mode fiber connection. Thanks to advanced WDM technology (Wavelength Division Multiplexing), it can simultaneously transmit and receive data over a single optical fiber, using wavelengths of TX 1310 nm and RX 1550 nm.
The device is ideal for extending network reach in commercial applications such as security monitoring, wireless networks, or connecting remote buildings. The maximum transmission range reaches up to 20 km on single-mode optical fiber. Thanks to plug & play functionality, no configuration is required.
Network standards and compatibility
The converter supports a wide range of network standards including IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3ab for Gigabit Ethernet, and IEEE 802.3x for flow control. Automatic negotiation of all parameters ensures seamless integration into existing networks.
Operating conditions
The device is designed for reliable operation in a wide temperature range from -5°C to +50°C with operating humidity of 10-90% non-condensing. Compact dimensions of 94.5 × 73 × 27 mm allow easy installation.
