Designed especially for protection of IP camera networks and wireless devices with PoE power supply. For PoE power supply, only pairs 1/2 and 3/6 can be used. Pairs 4/5 and 7/8 are not supported for PoE power supply. Therefore, End-span PoE wiring is supported, not Mid-span. This surge protection can be recommended for Dahua camera systems or Planet PoE switches. On the other hand, it is usually not suitable for Hikvision camera systems.
Surge protection works only with proper grounding! Pay attention to the transition resistance and condition of the building's grounding conductors!
