Starter package for smart control of apartment radiators. Contains 2 smart thermostatic heads and one Zigbee gateway. The package includes a description of how to use the heads in the Tuya system.
The heads control radiator valves according to the current ambient temperature and according to your set daily schedule. Thanks to PID regulation and combination with a daily schedule, you will achieve interesting savings in heat consumption. The heads and gateway are designed for the Tuya Smart application.
Remote control is carried out via your mobile phone or tablet from anywhere you connect to the internet. You can create time schedules that determine what temperature in the room should be maintained at a given time of day. It works with Tuya app Scenes and it is thus possible to control heating in the room, for example, according to the weather forecast for the day. Internet outages do not affect the functionality of the head. All settings are stored in the head and it synchronizes with Tuya Smart if necessary.
However, the head also has controls on the body. On its side cover it has an LED display with capacitive touch elements. You can easily control the local temperature by touching the illuminated plus and minus symbols. You can also prohibit manipulation with it using the child lock and thus convert the head to a mode where the desired temperature is set only from the application.
You install the head by screwing it onto the radiator valve and inserting 2 AA batteries.
The Zigbee gateway wirelessly connects thermostatic heads and your Wi-Fi router. It is universally applicable for any device supporting the Tuya Smart system. The Zigbee gateway just needs to be placed anywhere within range of the Wi-Fi access point (AP) or router, and at the same time within radio range of the controlled heads and any other Tuya devices. The gateway in the package is sufficient for operating at least 20 heads. Pairing with the Zigbee gateway is a matter of seconds. Further expansion of the system is easy by purchasing additional thermostatic heads and other Tuya elements. For configuration and remote control, a mobile phone or tablet with Android or iOS operating system is required.
The "Descaling" function, i.e. "descaling" or "limescale removal", which can be enabled or disabled, default state is enabled.
The head performs full valve movement (opening and closing) at certain intervals. This movement mechanically disrupts any limescale deposits.
