Wireless network camera with 4K (8 MP) resolution and solar power for continuous operation without the need for a mains electricity connection.
IP camera BF8CA-0210B-XL/M0508 is designed for outdoor surveillance of small and medium-sized properties such as residential homes, shops and small businesses. A 1/2.82" CMOS sensor with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 px and a lens with a focal length of 2.1 mm and aperture of F1.6 delivers sharp footage with a horizontal field of view of 123°. The combination of battery and solar power enables operation in AOV (Always-On Video) mode with a power consumption of just 0.208 W.
The camera supports wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, with quick pairing via Bluetooth. Recordings are stored locally on a micro SD card of up to 512 GB. Camera management is handled through the DMSS mobile app for Android and iOS. IP66 protection ensures resistance to dust and water even in demanding conditions.
Power modes and consumption
The camera offers four operating modes with varying energy consumption: ultra low-power and low-power mode (0.008 W), AOV mode (0.208 W) for continuous recording, and performance mode (1.504 W). Power can also be supplied via USB (5 VDC ± 5%, 2 A).
Remote management and security
The DMSS app enables live viewing, playback, notification management and secure access sharing with family members or colleagues. All communication is encrypted. The app is available for Android and iOS.
