High-performance MPPT solar charge controller for professional photovoltaic systems with 80 A charging current.
The TEP8425 charge controller from the TEP series represents an advanced solution for charge control in solar systems with 12/24/48 V voltage. With a maximum input voltage of 225 V at 25 °C and an MPPT range from battery voltage plus 2 V up to 180 V, it ensures optimal utilization of solar panels. MPPT tracking efficiency reaches an excellent 99.5% and maximum conversion efficiency of 98.3%.
The controller supports a wide range of battery types including AGM, gel, flooded, and LiFePO4 with a three-stage charging algorithm. Integrated BMS communication enables reliable charge and discharge control of lithium batteries. Compact construction with dimensions of 357 × 200 × 90 mm and weight of 4.51 kg ensures easy installation.
Advanced monitoring features
The controller offers comprehensive functions for real-time data recording, event logging, and energy production statistics. The 5 V DC/200 mA communication port (RJ-45) allows connection of external communication modules for remote monitoring and system control.
Flexible battery configuration
Supports lithium batteries of LFP (LiFePO4) and NCM types with user-customizable charging parameters. For lead-acid batteries, preset profiles for AGM, gel, and flooded types are available with automatic temperature compensation.
Parallel operation and scalability
Thanks to the integrated CAN communication port, up to 6 controllers can be connected in parallel to achieve higher charging current. The system operates both with connected battery and in direct load power supply mode without battery.
