The DHI-NVR2108HC-W model from the Dahua Lite series represents a modern solution for wireless camera systems in small and medium-sized operations. Thanks to the integrated Wi-Fi 6 module supporting IEEE 802.11b/g/n/a/ac/ax standards, it ensures stable and fast wireless connection of up to 8 IP cameras with resolution up to 16 Mpx. The recorder is equipped with two antennas with high gain for extensive coverage and reliable signal transmission.
The device operates with an industrial processor and Embedded Linux operating system, which guarantees stable operation. It supports advanced AI functions including intelligent motion detection SMD Plus on 4 channels and perimeter protection on all channels. Automatic pairing with wireless cameras significantly simplifies installation and eliminates the need for network cables.
Intelligent AI Features
The recorder supports SMD Plus (Smart Motion Detection Plus) on 4 channels for secondary filtering of human and vehicle motion, significantly reducing false alarms. Cameras can utilize perimeter protection and standard SMD on all 8 channels with performance of 16 targets/s.
Flexible Connectivity
The device offers 1× Ethernet port 10/100 Mbps, 2× USB 2.0 for backup media, HDMI and VGA outputs for connecting displays. The Wi-Fi module operates in AP mode to create a dedicated surveillance network or in Station mode to connect to an existing network.
Advanced Recording and Playback
Supports recording in general, motion detection, intelligent, and alarm modes. Playback offers instant playback, general, by events, tags, or intelligent playback on up to 8 channels simultaneously.
