The WBE510D access point represents an advanced wireless networking solution with Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) standard support. The dual-band configuration 2.4 GHz: 2×2:2 and 5 or 6 GHz: 4×4:2 provides aggregate speeds up to 6.5 Gbps with minimal latency for applications requiring instant response. Compared to standard dual-radio models (2×2 + 2×2), it offers two additional antennas in the 5/6 GHz band, extending range and increasing performance.
The innovative BandFlex design allows configuration of the second radio for either 5 GHz or 6 GHz band according to current needs, ensuring an economical solution for existing 5GHz coverage with the possibility of future migration to 6 GHz. The antenna is designed for optimal performance in both ceiling and wall mounting – users simply switch between two antenna modes depending on installation type, eliminating issues with inappropriate radiation patterns.
Advanced RF design
The access point utilizes advanced RF filters eliminating interference between 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. Built-in 4G/5G filter ensures seamless coexistence with mobile networks. The rectangular shape of the device maintains excellent isolation between antennas, which is crucial for meeting 4K QAM modulation requirements demanding high SNR.
Nebula cloud management
Integrated Nebula cloud management offers comprehensive real-time monitoring and reporting including critical event notifications via mobile application. Features like WiFi Aid and Wireless Health automate wireless network management and optimization.
Security and authentication
Supports WEP/WPA/WPA2/WPA3 encryption and IEEE 802.1X/RADIUS authentication. Security features include L2 isolation, MAC filtering and rogue AP detection. Fast roaming is ensured through pre-authentication, PMK caching and 802.11r/k/v standards.
