The MC212CS-2 is an advanced media converter that enables conversion between a Gigabit RJ-45 port and a Gigabit SC port for optical fibers. The device uses WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology, which can transmit and receive data on a single optical fiber, significantly reducing infrastructure costs.
The converter is ideal for extending network connections up to 2 km via optical fiber. It can be used in commercial applications such as park security monitoring, wireless networks, or connecting remote buildings.
