Introducing a robust industrial media converter equipped with two 10/100/1000Base-T RJ-45 ports and two SFP slots for optical fiber. The device supports both 100Base-FX and 1000Base-X transceivers with automatic speed detection and provides a flexible network solution for extreme operating conditions.
The converter is enclosed in a rugged IP40 metal housing and is designed for operation in a temperature range of -40 to +75 °C. Thanks to redundant 12–58 V DC power supply and DIN rail mounting capability, it is ideal for industrial applications, transportation systems, and outdoor installations requiring high reliability.
Advanced network features
The converter supports IEEE 802.3x flow control for full duplex and back pressure for half duplex operation. The integrated address lookup engine automatically learns and ages MAC addresses, while broadcast storm restraint protects the network from overload.
Flexible optical connectivity
SFP ports allow connection of multimode fibers up to 300 meters or single-mode fibers up to 70 kilometers for Gigabit Ethernet. Fast Ethernet reaches up to 60 kilometers over single-mode fibers.
Industrial ruggedness
The device has been tested according to IEC60068 standards for drop, shock, and vibration. LED indicators provide immediate overview of power status, link connection, and transmission speed on all ports.
