PLANET MGB-2GTRJ is a high-performance SFP transceiver specifically designed to work with PLANET products featuring 2.5G SFP interface. It enables building a high-speed 2.5Gbps Ethernet network over copper cabling for enterprises, telecommunications companies, and internet service providers.
The transceiver is fully compliant with the SFP Multisource Agreement (MSA) standard and offers hot-plug installation capability into any compatible SFP port without the need to power down the host device. Thanks to its wide temperature range of -40 to +85 °C, it is ideal for deployment in industrial applications with demanding climate conditions.
Flexible deployment in network infrastructure
The MGB-2GTRJ transceiver can be installed in PLANET switches equipped with SFP mini-GBIC interface. The deployment allows extending network infrastructure with transmission distance up to 100 meters over copper cabling.
