PLANET IXT-900-2X is a high-performance industrial media converter equipped with two 10G/2.5G/1G/100Base-X SFP+ ports for optical fibers. This enables conversion between single mode and multimode optical fibers or between PON and Ethernet. The device is designed for extreme conditions with an extended temperature range of -40 to +75 °C and IP40 industrial housing, providing high resistance to electromagnetic interference and electrical surges.
The converter offers comprehensive remote management options via web interface, CLI (Command Line Interface), and SNMP protocol. It supports advanced security protocols SSHv2, TLSv1.2, and SNMPv3 for protection against cyber threats. The device is suitable for deployment in industrial applications, telecommunications, FTTH/FTTC/FTTB networks, and critical infrastructures.
Redundant ring topology with fast recovery
The device supports ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) technology, which ensures redundant ring topology with automatic recovery under 500 ms during link failure. This feature is critical for applications requiring high network availability.
Link Fault Pass-through for efficient network management
