Smart outdoor Wi-Fi socket, working with the Tuya Smart app, is used to turn electrical devices on or off. The socket has correct phase switching through the left outlet. It also supports third-party applications such as Alexa voice assistant, Google Home assistant, Yandex or IFTTT. Simply place the socket anywhere within radio range of your Wi-Fi access point.
You can create time schedules for when it should turn on or off. All settings are synchronized with the Tuya Smart app, it also supports the third-party application SmartThings. Internet connection outages have no effect on functionality. All settings are stored in the socket and synchronized with Tuya Smart when needed. After disconnection from the power supply, it reconnects to Wi-Fi and synchronizes settings.
Initial setup is very simple. Just connect the socket to the electrical supply, place it within range of the Wi-Fi network and then pair it with the Tuya Smart app. Setup is done through your mobile phone or tablet on the local network and then you can control the device from anywhere in the world.
For configuration and control, a mobile phone or tablet with Android or iOS operating system is required. However, there is also a button that allows the socket to be controlled locally.
The socket is waterproof and dustproof, including the PG cable gland. You can therefore place it anywhere in the garden or greenhouse without worrying about a short circuit during rain or watering.
Switching is relay-based (single-pole), only the L conductor is switched (N conductor is permanently connected). The package includes installation material for wall mounting. Cables are not included.
