12V/230V-500W power inverter with UPS function. Connect a battery and you have a complete backup power supply with automatic switchover to backup mode.
When powered from the mains, connected devices are supplied directly from the grid and the external battery is charged. In the event of a power outage, the source automatically switches to inverter mode, drawing energy from the battery to power the devices. Once power is restored, the unit automatically switches back to the mains and recharges the battery.
This backup power source is recommended for its flexible use. Pure sine wave output. Ideal for long-term backup applications.
Supports GEL, AGM and flooded lead-acid batteries. Does not support Li-Ion, Li-Pol, LiFePO, etc.
Features:
WARNING! The backup power supply (UPS) works only when connected to an external battery. It should not be used without a battery. After connecting the battery, plug the main power cord into a grounded wall outlet (230V, 50 Hz). Connect the device you want to keep running during a power outage to the rear output sockets. Follow this sequence: connect the battery, connect the main power supply, and then connect the appliance to the UPS. To turn the AC output (sockets) on or off, press and hold the power button (ON/OFF) for about 2 seconds.
In the event of a power failure or abnormal power parameters, the UPS automatically switches to battery mode. The switch to battery mode is shown on the UPS display and indicated by an audible alarm.
